It recently occurred to me that I have not blogged with any pregnancy updates yet and am now 28 weeks! I’m afraid I was never going to be one of those people who could think of pregnancy updates to post every month, but now seems as good a time as any!
If I’m honest, I have been very lucky and the weeks have just passed with me barely thinking about being pregnant. However, the little girl I am growing has been starting to make herself known lately, with lots of kicks, jumps and wriggles – she is obviously reminding me that she is still there!
Don’t be too envious, I suffered with the standard nausea and fatigue in the first trimester, but that all seems like a lifetime away now and have been merrily drifting through the ‘easy’ second trimester.
This seems like a good time to start enjoying the pregnancy, focusing on my well being and to start really planning for our new little one – before the tiredness of the third trimester kicks in!
My aims from here are: to get some earlier nights, start to think about any baby things we might need to buy and start a cute project for our little girl. I’ve picked an adorable bunny hat to knit for her that I found on the knitting site ravelry. I’ll let you know how I get on!
How did you feel in the second trimester? When did you start getting organised for baby?
